Clausen Farm is a historic estate overlooking the Mohawk Valley in Sharon Springs, New York. The property’s origins trace back to the late eighteenth century, and in 1890 it was transformed into the summer estate of successful brewer Henry Clausen Jr. Over the following decades, the Clausen family expanded the estate with distinctive barns, guest lodges, recreational buildings, and landscaped grounds, creating one of the region’s most notable country retreats. The estate remained in the Clausen family for generations and today stands as an enduring part of Sharon Springs’ historic landscape.
